BioTherm Fluids Automotive & Industrial (AI) (formerly IceClear HD) is a biobased, ready-to-use, glycerin coolant / anti-freeze / heat transfer fluid which combines highly refined glycerin tested to ASTM D7640 and an environmentally friendly organic corrosion inhibitor package (NAP FREE; No Nitrites, Amines, or Phosphates). THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT CONTAIN ETHYLENE GLYCOL. This is simply the safest and most environmentally friendly engine coolant / antifreeze / heat transfer fluid available. BioTherm Fluids AI has been tested to ASTM D7714 (Glycerin Base Engine Coolant for Automobile and Light-Duty Service) and ASTM D7715 (Standard Specification for Fully-Formulated Glycerin Base Coolant for Heavy-Duty Engines). For industrial heat transfer purposes, we also meet ASTM D1384 (which is actually part of the above listed testing). BioTherm Fluids AI was developed for quality, safety and environmental concerns. AI is a certified USDA Biobased Product in the USDA BioPreferred Program and is NSF listed (HT2). AI is readily biodegradable, non-toxic and non-hazardous. Additionally, glycerin is considered “GRAS”, (Generally Recognized As Safe) by the FDA (Federal Food and Drug Administration).
